Brain Fry is operated by PARADISE NYC, LLC. This policy covers the Brain Fry iPhone app and this website. For privacy questions, contact bsmurphy@gmail.com.

Information on your device

The app stores your onboarding answers, goals, protection rules, daily budget, selected app tokens, focus-session history, and streak information on your device. The app and its Screen Time extensions share protection settings through an Apple App Group.

We do not transmit your onboarding answers, selected app tokens, or focus history to a developer-operated server. Device backups and transfers may include locally stored information according to your Apple and device settings.

Screen Time and notifications

Brain Fry requests Screen Time access so it can apply the limits and protections you select. App selection uses Apple’s activity picker and privacy-preserving tokens. You can change your rules, turn protection off in Brain Fry Settings, and manage permission in iOS.

Notifications are optional. You can change notification permission in iPhone Settings.

Subscriptions

Apple processes subscription purchases through StoreKit. The app reads verified purchase and entitlement information to provide subscription access and restore purchases. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple’s handling of purchase information is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.

Analytics and advertising

The app does not include developer-operated analytics, third-party advertising, or cross-app tracking. It does not require a Brain Fry account.

Website and support

Our website is hosted by Vercel. When you visit, the hosting service may process technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, and browser information to deliver and secure the website. We do not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies to this site. See Vercel’s privacy policy for its practices.

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use this information to respond to your request. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for support.

Your choices and deletion

You can edit protection settings, turn protection off, and manage subscriptions from the app or iOS Settings. You can remove the app to remove its app data, subject to iOS backup and shared-container behavior. Shared settings or backups may persist under Apple’s storage rules.
